Report the case to the insurer immediately. Describe the
time, date, cause etc of the fire in detail. |

The insurer will then appoint an adjuster to investigate
the fire. A detail adjuster's report will be made. Do not discard or remove
any destroyed items without the insurer's prior approval. |

If the loss is minor, the insurer would probably
not appoint a loss adjuster. Instead, you will be asked to submit the
relevant quotation for repair or receipts of goods damaged to insurer
to assessment within 15 days. In that case, you should also send original
photos showing the extent of loss to the insurer. |

If there is damage to building :

Obtain a quotation from the builder on the cost of restoring the
building to its state immediately before the fire. You must make
sure that insurers' interest is notified. |

Insurer will then pass the quotation to the loss adjusters for
assessment. |

Insurer has the sole discretion on how to provide an indemnity.

| 5. |
If there is damage to furniture, stock or other contents
:
- Provide a full list of articles destroyed or damaged. |

| 6. |
Do not admit liability for damage to third party without
insurer's approval. And you should submit any writ of summons/claim letter
to insureras soon as possible. |

If there are other insurances in force, inform also the
insurer about the name, sum insured etc. of the co-insurer. |

| 8. |
Submit the following to the insurer :
| a. |
Claim form. |
| b. |
A copy of the Fire Department Report (if available). |
| c. |
A full list of articles destroyed or damaged. |
| d. |
All accounting records, including all stock records, record of
last renovation, rental record etc. |
| e. |
All documents received concerning third party liability losses.
